Lynmouth and photos to come

Thursday, July 2nd, 2009

Hi everybody!

We’ve just come back from another successful Lynmouth trip and I’ve realised that I haven’t even uploaded last years Lynmouth photos yet. Hopefully this year will take slightly shorter than 12 months.

Just to catch up with a few things…

My eyes are now white, I have some photos of the first few days so I shall post those soon as well.

I also put on a bit of weight on holiday (alcohol, ice cream, biscuits, curry, mmmmmm) so I’m now eating quite  healthily and getting to the gym again.

All holiday photos are up!

Some unedited photos

Saturday, June 21st, 2008

I haven’t got around to editing any of the photos, but I’ve put a few of my pictures up anyway.

These photos are marked as private and use a ‘guest pass’ so you can only see them through this link. If you go straight to my Flickr page they won’t be there.

Photographs

Thursday, June 19th, 2008

I’ve started to tag up my photographs ready for Flickr, but I can’t geotag them until the weekend. So it won’t be long until I can upload them.

My dolphin picture didn’t come out as well as I hoped. This is all I got in the end…

It’s so hot

Wednesday, June 18th, 2008

It’s 10pm at night and we’re just waiting for a coach to pick us up from the reception we are currently in. I’m boiling hot.

To make that sentence a little more accurate… the BBC says that the night time minimum temperature is 23 degrees celsius. A perspective on that is that the maximum temperature in London tomorrow will be 19 degrees. I’m sweating buckets.

Anyway, over the next couple of days I’ll explain what I’ve been doing and will be putting up some photos on Flickr when I can get the GPS software downloaded and my photos geotagged. Probably Sunday.

This week [Unprotected]

Tuesday, June 17th, 2008

I’m looking forward to posting some of the photos from this holiday, but although there is internet there aren’t the cables to connect the camera up. So far we have some excellent ones of Rhodes old town walls, the roman acropolis and some dolphins that decided to turn up on our boat trip. A lot of people didn’t even see the dolphins, but I managed a quick picture!

Karen is now a mother and I’m an Uncle. I’m looking forward to those pictures too.

(Password protected as I don’t annouce when I’m on holiday publicly)

New Forrest and Majorca

Sunday, August 12th, 2007

Amy and I, along with Graham Cronin at work, went out to the New Forrest yesterday (Saturday 11th) to do some filming for a project that Ken Russell is working on at the University. It was a beautiful day again and we even managed to see a couple of deer down at the sanctuary.

On a different note, I promised (for about a year and a half) to get the Majorca holiday photos up on the website. So I’ve put them on Flickr. I forgot how pretty some of them are.
